Land Assistant - Successful oil & gas company located in Wichita, KS has an immediate opening for an individual to work in the Land department. This position will report to a Land Manager and be involved in all aspects of the land department including reviewing legal land descriptions, reviewing oil/gas leases, coordinating appropriate rental payments to land owners, interacting with land and mineral owners, land accounting for the department, and contract drafting and negotiations. The successful candidate will have a Liberal Arts degree and a desire to work for a Kansas-based oil & gas firm in a legal oriented capacity. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in or knowledge of the oil and gas business. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are required. Plant Engineer - Successful ethanol plant has an immediate opening for a Plant Engineer. This position will be based in Wichita, Kansas and will report to the General Manager. Position will be involved in all aspects of ethanol plant operations and management including profit and loss, plant efficiency, process analysis, grain procurement, hedging, budgeting, investor reporting, and personnel issues. The preferred candidate will have a Chemical Engineering degree. Preference will be given to candidate with good business sense and relevant experience.
